It's all about the kits !

Wow I can't believe it's been a whole month since I last blogged ! Now the shops back open I'm busier than ever and I'm LOVING it !

Although we are in the middle of summer (apparently!) I've been sourcing new yarns ready for autumn/ winter and wow have we got some amzing new yarns coming our way ! 

We've launched 2 new yarns over the last few weeks, which are both amazing ! We have from Stylecraft - Highland Heathers DK and from King Cole - Island Beaches DK. As usual I've manged to add one of every colour of these to my ever growing stash !

I was really concerned about our shorter (temporary) opening times when we first re-opened after lockdown but they seem to be working quite well at the moment and I'm loving the fact that I'm finally getting more time to get creative and work on new projects which leads me to our workshop kits !!

You are probably really fed up with me babbling on about these kits but I am having so much fun working on them and they are going down a storm ! 

The idea came just before lockdown when I realised running my usual face to face workshops was going to be impossible for some time.

 I love running the shop but my passion is crafting and most of all sharing my crafts with others, so these kits enable me to continue doing what I love and with the aid of social media and technology (although this really isn't my strong point!) I can offer help and support virtually.

Last month we launched our beginners crochet kit "crochet unravelled" and already its a huge success! We are busy now getting our new "vintage crochet bunting kits" together and already have lots of orders to fulfil !

I always find choosing the colour combo's the hardest thing!

I'm already working on our next kit, which just needs a bit of tweaking and its ready to go! 

Can you tell I'm just in woolly heaven at the moment??!!

I'll tootle off now and get cracking with some hooking !
